Having problems with your Vacuums ?
I have a Kenmore vacuum cleaner model #116.34720. The problem I am having is that if you are rolling the vacuum around, the base will drop without pressing on the handle release pedal. This often results in a bunch of dirt being dumped back out. The manual doesn't show anything about adjusting the handle release pedal so it holds the handle and base in an upright position better.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Dyson dc07 The rotating brush on the bottom of my vacuum was filled with strings. I removed the brush by undoing all yellow plastic screws from plate. Removed all strings and replaced as best I could and it was hard to get the brush back in and the belt around it. I dont have my manual but it fits so it should be correct....? Right? No, not true, because when I turn it on and try to and vacuum (by lower canister with foot release) it makes that terrible ratching sound). Please help
The loud ratching is a warning to tell you that there is something stopping the roller bar from rotating this is a very common thing lay the machine on the floor front side down take off the bottom plate and just check the belt is in the centre of th ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
Hi: My DC14 (not animal version) has 3 major cracks that have pretty much killed the thing. There are three 'columns' that run down from the handle to the base. From the back, the left one has either the intake or outflow for the canister and the right one has the reverse. The middle one is where the base of the extension hose and cord is mounted. On all three the plastic has cracked at about the point where the bottom of the canister meets the permafilter. The vacuum is useless now and

There is a - and i will call it - a relief valve on the top front of the canister that pops when the handle is released to vacuum - i have cleaned everything like the manual says but did not work -
Im not sure about this relief valve - if its a valve that has a flipable catch on the back of the handle its not always supposed to pop open. Perhaps you could be a bit clearer where the valve actually is? Older Dyson models have a valve on top of th ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
DC25 telescoping handle does not seat tightly. When pulling the vac back it unseats about 2 inches. This prevents the hose from engaging securely in the base and suction is affected. Do I need to replace the clear wand release catch? I've only had the vac about a year and am surprised it would wear out so quickly.

I have a miele S712 (2 yrs old worked fine yesterday) - I had been doing some diy work inside and had the vac on just to reduce some of the dust in the air - after a while the vacuum fizzled out. I guessed it had overheated and took it outside to cool down - when I tried to turn it back on pressing the power button gives it power and it starts to **** but it won't STAY on, soon as you release the power button it stops, and the orange bag indicator is showing full. Have Dyson DC 14. When tilt to vacuum, the handle and coiled hose comes away from the unit. The problem started when the little purple ridged curved part on front of vacuum cleaner right below handle came loose and a spring fell out from somewhere--don't know where. I pushed on the purple ridge part and it snapped back on. Now, can't get it loose again, don't know where the spring goes, and handle still comes loose from vacuum.

I purchased a Eureka C4910 last year and have a question that I am hoping you can answer. There are two motor actions with this vacuum, 1) the vacuum suction, and 2) the beater bar. The action of the beater bar is that motor is supposed to automatically shut off when the handle is in the complete vertical position assuming the vacuum is stationary, but then turn on when the handle is tilted toward the floor, assuming the vacuum is moving back and forth. The beater bar motor turn-on mechan

Now I can?t figure out where to put the ?screen cap? and ?sponge filter?. I have my manual in front of me and the only place it shows the filter and sponge (page 35 in the manual) is when it?s been taken apart to clean. It doesn?t show where to put it back.
